Music

As the son of Manny Greenhill, who founded Folklore Productions in 1957, Mitch was exposed to music from childhood. He grew up in the fervent and dynamic 1960’s Boston music scene, launching a successful music career as a recording artist, live performer, record producer, and music executive.

Writing

A graduate of the Boston Latin School and Harvard University, Mitch’s love of language and storytelling can be seen in his diverse writings. These include award-winning album and CD liner notes as well as his recent publication “Raised by Musical Mavericks: Recalling Life Lessons from Pete Seeger, Lightnin’ Hopkins, Doc Watson, Rev. Gary Davis and others.”

Theater

Mitch caught the theater bug as a young performer with the Boston Children’s Theater. Since then, he has combined his talents in music and theater to create sound designs and compositions for theatrical productions from coast to coast.
