Mitch’s award-winning musical career spans over 50 years of work as a recording musician, performing musician, record producer and music executive.

His latest album, MITCHOLOGY is a collection of original songs, sung and played by the composer with an array of guests on instruments and vocals.

Seven albums as featured performer, including several with long-time partner Mayne Smith. And about a dozen as producer, including a Grammy-winner for Doc & Merle Watson.

President of FLi Artists / Folklore Productions.

Founded in 1957 by the late Manuel Greenhill, Folklore Productions represents artists in the world of folk, roots, and traditional music.  Over the years, these have included Doc Watson, Taj Mahal, Joan Baez, Jesse Fuller, Reverend Gary Davis, Dave Van Ronk, The Klezmatics, Dónal Lunny, John Renbourn, Savoy Cajun Band, Santiago Jimenez Jr., Lúnasa, Dervish, Yasmin Levy, Aynur and Cory Harris.  Publishing, including titles by Baez, Davis, John Fahey and George Winston, is administered through several subsidiary companies.  Titles have been recorded by Bob Dylan, Jackson Browne and Bonnie Raitt.
